Javed Afridi

At the team owner and head of the Peshawar Zalmi team and Foundation I have a vision of celebrating the great traditions and history of the Pashtuns through the hugely popular sport of cricket which the entire Pakistan country including the KPK province is deeply impassioned about.

We at Peshawar Zalmi have made a pledge to help reshape lives of the underprivileged with this opportunity that has an incredibly vast scope. My family and i have strong connections with the area and have over the years tried to make a contribution to the betterment of the area through various welfare and sport projects.

Haier Pakistan has already made its mark on cricket in the country with its unbridled support for both domestic and international engagements. In recent years we have provided sponsorship of the sport at all levels and have been the torchbearers through our unique promotional and advertising campaigns for cricket. We have never cared about the ROI of our affiliation, the longstanding goal has been to boost the sport and help it spread far and wide.
